We are delighted to announce a series of major anti-bullying roadshows in Auckland, Waikato, Taranaki and Hawke’s Bay regions with Meredith O’Connor, the American teen pop star and anti-bullying icon. Meredith’s Anti-bullying world Tour with No Bullying Initiative Trust in tow, is a way of increasing awareness regarding bullying issues and reduce the stigma that surrounds victims of bullying by creating hopeful messages.
According to the founder and owner of CG Talent Rick Galvin, Meredith’s first hit song “Celebrity” went viral on the internet.  Since then Meredith has used her platform to tell her story as a victim of bullying to her fans, through her song that followed titled “The Game”. Soon after, her award winning song “Just the Thing” became a hit, with the music video featured on Teen Nick, and VEVO, also garnering an LAIFF award.  The video, filmed in a New York high school, is about how it can be a good thing to stand out.
Meredith has been a teen role model and idol to fans all over the world. Her music is loved by millions and some have even claimed that it saved their lives during challenges with bullying and isolation. Meredith’s new album titled “I am” focuses on themes of overcoming adversity and embracing ones’ own unique qualities, and features a duet with Teen Beach Movie’s Garrett Clayton.  It is available on iTunes, Amazon and in other stores.
