Dr. Coral Ingley
Adviser & Founding Trustee

Dr Coral Ingley is Associate Professor: Management at AUT University. She holds a doctoral degree in corporate governance and has 25 years’ experience in university teaching and research, following five years in corporate professional and managerial employment. She also has over 15 years’ experience in consulting and advising businesses on strategy and general management, as well as on-going involvement in managing and governing entrepreneurial family firms.

Vincent Naidu
Adviser & Founding Trustee

Mr Naidu is Principal of Vinci Law, a specialist law firm in Greenlane, previously a Partner at a boutique corporate/commercial law firm in Auckland. Prior, he was a Partner in the commercial team of a mid-tier law firm in Auckland’s CBD. He also advises and speak on corporate governance issues, particularly in relation to the corporate and charitable sectors

Bigson Gumbeze
Founding Trustee, Operations & Management

Mr Gumbeze is a passionate humanitarian with diverse experience in social justice issues. A true believer and doer of Mahatma Gandhi’s motto “Be the change you wish to see in the world.” He is a social entrepreneur, a leader and pragmatic visionary on a mission to sustainable social change through new inventions, different approaches, networking, stakeholder collaboration and application of known technologies to address human rights violations.

Dr Andrea C. Alfaro
Trustee & Board Chair

Dr Alfaro leads the Aquaculture Biotechnology Group within the Institute of Applied Research at the Auckland University of Technology. She is an inter-disciplinary researcher with broad interests in Aquaculture Biotechnology. Dr Alfaro chairs the Global Aquaculture Alliance mussels section, where she works with leading mussel experts worldwide to deliver guidelines for sustainable mussel cultivation.

Bigson Gumbeze
Trustee, Operations & Management

Mr Gumbeze’s overseas experience in humanitarian work, youth work and missionary work in Africa provides a unique flavour to our multicultural environment. He also brings 8 years’ experience as Child Protection Senior Practitioner with Ministry of Social Development, now Ministry of Vulnerable Children in New Zealand. Prior to his work with Child, Youth and Family, Mr Gumbeze worked with offenders at Corrections Inmate Employment, Instructor of Offender Rehabilitation and Reintegration and in part as Corrections Officer for 5 years.

Jackie Long
Trustee

Ms Long is a General Manager at Te Kauwhata Retirement and Residential facility. She has been in the health sector for over 31 years, having worked for the NHS in Scotland and DHBs in New Zealand, Jackie has also worked in the areas of Mental Health and Addiction, Therapeutic Communities, Aged Care, Co-existing Disorders and Intellectual Disability. She is a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and has an extensive background in professional leadership and executive level management in these sectors.

Operations Manager

Leonora is a certified adult educator, coach, speaker and trainer. She is grounded, down to earth and can engaged at all levels. Her passion is to see others excel in every area of their lives and despite their past traumas, have the resilience to push through, transform themselves, and be the best they can be. Using her real-life experiences and stories, she provides practical steps to create change and strategies to overcome perceived barriers. She inspires individuals to accept themselves; engage with peers by sharing stories to give others hope; proactively equip and empower themselves by engaging with their vision and purposely fulfill their dreams.
